• Links should be build slowly-Backlinks act as a backbone for SEO so it should be built slowly at a constant pace rather over a weekend.

•  One Quality links is better than hundreds of crappy links- One quality backlink from a highly reputed, high ranking site is much more better than hundreds of crappy links.

•  If the product is not good ranking can’t be increased- If the product or service that is provided is not worthy then spending time on it is useless.

•  Content- It plays a major role for improving the page ranking. Content should be unique and should emphasize all the keywords used.

•    Meta tags- Proper meta tags should be used. 
• Keywords- A thorough research should be done on keywords regarding which keyword will be right and which will be not. Keywords should be used atleast 3-4 times on each page.

•  It has to be quick- SEO is dynamic if you are not fast and quick with your actions then you will encounter loss in page ranking in a very short span of time.

•   Social Promotions- They act as major role for bringing traffic to the site on which you are working the all you need is to give some links to the site so that people get in touch with it.

• Articles-Articles should be posted on various sites with a link to your site the only thing to keep in mind is that the content should should be catchy and related to the site.

• Performance should be measured regularly- Regularly you should monitor your performance so that if the results are not coming then time can be spend on the keywords that are not performing and other features.

• Blogs- Blogs should be posted that can be related to the site with a link to the sites.

• Long tail keywords can prove beneficial- Since there is less competition for long tail keyword then by using them this will be effective in increasing page ranking.
